Emily absolutely loves being part of Downtown Dance's Showteam. Her dance teacher posted this photo on Facebook and I just had to share. They practice and work very hard and it definitely shows in the way they perform. I am very excited to see them dance during the upcoming competition season!

Lunch in Twin Falls
Today is the anniversary of Amy passing away. I knew it would be a hard day and didn't want to stay home being sad, so I made plans for Mom, Melinda, and I to meet Alisha in Twin Falls for lunch. It was a quick trip but it was nice to get together and talk about all our happy memories and moments with Amy.
Emily Ski Trip
Emily's School does an awesome ski program each year. We just had to pay a small fee and she was able to go on four ski trips with her classmates. Each trip included a class that taught her all the basics. On her second trip LeeRoy drove and met her. They had so much fun spending the day together. Having LeeRoy with her helped Emily to be a little braver and push herself to try things more.

LeeRoy's Close Call
LeeRoy was pulling some equipment up a mountain for work today we he suddenly lost traction. He said he could feel his truck start to slide backwards but there was nothing he could do. He thought about jumping out of the driver's side door but was afraid he would get caught and pulled under the truck if he jumped too close, and go down a steep embankment if he jumped too far. Thankfully he stopped sliding just short of going over the edge of the road. So thankful for miracles that keep my family safe!

Reinlisted
It's official, my oldest daughter will graduate high school before I'm out of the National Guard. I just re-up'd for another 6.

Emily High Honor Roll
I am so proud of Emily. She works so hard in school and really makes her studies a priority. She was proud to tell me that she had made the high honor roll. Way to go!

Whiskey
Wendy's favorite Christmas present by far is
her seatbelt buddy. She named her Whiskey because "that's a cute way to
say whiskers". She then proceeded to tell all my family how car trips
are so much funner and more relaxing with Whiskey!
