Poor Wendy

I received a call from Wendy's school today telling me she had gotten hurt at recess and since school would be out in a half hour anyway I decided to go and pick her up.  When I went into the office this is how I found her.  She had been running to the doors and smacked her head into a pole.  She had quite the bump!  We thanked the secretary for taking such good care of her, checked her out, and headed into her classroom to grab her backpack.  As soon as we walked through the door several kids from her class came to give her coloring pages and hugs wondering if she was okay.  It was adorable.  After we left she just hugged me and thanked me for coming to get her and I promised her that I would always be there when she needed me.  It was a special moment.
