Marching Band Parent Night

Emily went to the Marching Band Parent Night last night with my family so she could see Lacie perform as part the of the color guard. Half way through the band got to pick a member of their family to come down of the field and walk through a formation with them and Lacie picked Em. She was so excited to be down with the big kids and thought she was cool stuff!

Robisons and a Baby Shower

Alisha and I made plans for the girls and I to go visit her in Wendell this last weekend. It worked out great because her friends were throwing her a shower on the same day and we were very excited to be able to go. My mom tagged along with us and we had such a great time. Seeing her receive all the baby boy presents makes me even more excited to be able to hold my new nephew soon!

After the shower we headed over to a place in Twin Falls called Hop 2 It for some jumping fun. Travis was nice enough to run around with all the kids while Mom, Alisha, and I watched and visited. They loved that place. Wendy never stopped moving. By the time we left her face was bright red and her hair was soaked in sweat!

After Hop 2 It we did some shopping at the mall and went to dinner together. By that time Alisha had talked us into spending the night. We hadn't brought anything with us but made due with what we had and I was glad we stayed. I didn't get much sleep though because MaKenna kept sneaking out of her bed to come sleep with me on the couch and there wasn't much room. She is so funny!

It was hard to leave but I am excited to see them again when Peyton arrives. He will be here at about the same time as LeeRoy comes home so we have plenty to look forward to. Thanks Robison Family for giving us one last fun-filled weekend before school starts!

Princess Ninja

Emily attended activity day camp and this year's theme was Princess Ninja. She had so much fun! They decorated frisbees and used them to play frisbee golf, shot archery and bb guns, did origami, decorated hats, played a fun ninja pole game, made a cheer, and did an obstacle course. She had a great time and really got to know the girls from our ward a lot better.

Alisha and Kenna

I was so excited when Alisha and Kenna agreed to come and stay with us for a week. Since LeeRoy left the girls and I have been trying really hard not to get down and having my sister and cute little niece with us what so perfect! Our days were planned with fun activities and once the kids were in bed we laughed while watching shows together and drinking Italian Cream Sodas. While she was here we talked my dad into babysitting Wendy and Kenny while the rest of us met up with Nedra, Cami, and Chelsey in Poky at the Mystique Dinner Theater where they were putting on Cinderella. Dinner was so good and Emily loved the play! It was hard saying goodbye at the end of the week but we are already making plans and looking forward to the next time we can get together.

Military Family Appreciation Day

Lacie joined the girls and me today for the 3rd Annual Military Family Appreciation Day. There was so much fun stuff going on. Activities for the kids, music, cotton candy, clowns, face painting and tons of food. We had a great time! It was also fun visiting with several army wives and their families. I remember attending this last year knowing we still had the deployment ahead of us and now this year it is nearly over. That is a very nice feeling!
