First Day of Second Grade

Emily's first day of school was today. She is now a second grader! This morning was full of excitement. She could hardly wait to meet her new teacher and find out who was in her class. I had a hard time letting her go. I love having her home during the summer. I think Wendy missed her the most though. She kept saying, "when Emily home?". When Emily finally did get home she was so excited to tell us all about her day. She loves her teacher, has lots of friends in her class, and is happy each student has their own math book, (She loves math for some crazy reason). I think this year is going to be a great one!
