He is Home!

So this is what the light at the end of the tunnel feels like. SSG Cox now becomes Hubby and Daddy. It was very last minute when we found out he was coming home so we were very excited. Waiting at the airport felt like forever but someone finally spotted their plane in the sky and the whole crowd of anxious family and loved ones broke out in applause and cheers. It was a great moment scanning the faces of the soldiers and finally finding LeeRoy's. This deployment is finally over! Once again our family is complete and it feels amazing!

LeeRoy and I were looking forward to some time together when the kids fi
nally settled down and went to bed for the night when my brother-in-law called telling me my sister Alisha was in labor and they were headed to the hospital. It was a hard decision to leave my husband so soon after his return, but he was so understanding and assured me that he was home for good now and we would have plenty of time together so my mom and I headed to Twin Falls at around midnight and got there around 2 a.m. I was so glad I made the decision to go. It was an amazing experience to see my beautiful nephew come into the world. They named him Peyton James Robison and he is so lucky to have such great parents and such an excited big sister. I just wanted to kiss his cheeks forever!

My husband is home and I have a new nephew to kiss and love. This has truly been a wonderful and amazing week! America!
