Happy Halloween

LeeRoy stayed home from work on Halloween because he was so sick but he was determined to have a great holiday with the kids.  Wendy's school had a Halloween parade and it was so fun to go see her and all the other kids walking around in their costumes.  Emily's class also had a party and she got to go through a spook alley her teacher had made in the music room.  It took her a couple of tries to gather the courage but once she made it inside she had fun.  When they came home they were eager to go tick-or-treating.  LeeRoy took them to a trunk-or-treat and they got a ton of candy.  Then they went to different houses in the neighborhood.  After coming home to a quick dinner we drove to grandma and grandpa Palmer's house for our last stop.  The loved showing off their costumes and dumping out and sorting their candy.  They were pretty tired by the end of the night so we went home, cuddled in pajamas and blankets, and stayed up late watching a fun Halloween movie.  It was a school night but not even that can stop tradition!
