Emily V.I.P.

This week was Emily's turn to be the class V.I.P.  She brought home a bag that she was supposed to fill with stuff that represented her personality.  She also got to fill in a giant poster all about herself.  These things were then displayed in her classroom for the week.  Her favorite part of being V.I.P. though was being able to bring home the class pet for the weekend.  It was a turtle named Lightning.  Wendy was so excited she could hardly breathe.  They had so much fun watching him and feeding him.  Emily even fed him some live worms.  You could hear him chomping from across the room.  I was completely paranoid that we would kill him so I was thrilled when she returned him to school safe and sound but the girls miss him already.
