Parent Teacher Conferences

Last night LeeRoy, Emily, and I went to her school for a parent / teacher conference.  It was so fun as we walked down the halls to see some of the different projects she had done hung up on display.  She spent tons of time on her St. George Tucker poster and her preamble to the Constitution shirt and was so proud to point them out to us.  There was also a wall where many kids had chosen something they loved about their school.  Emily wrote about seeing her grandma every day.  My mom was so touched by that!  When we met with the teacher we were thrilled to hear that she is doing amazing and getting straight A's.  If that wasn't great enough her teacher had a chocolate fountain set up for the parents.  We are so proud of our girl.  Not just because she is doing so well but because she continues to make school a top priority.  Way to go Em!
