Roy Competiton

This last weekend was the first dance competition of the season in Roy, Utah.  It was a long one but the girls were great!  They took 1st place in every category, received a specialty award for execution and energy, and took the overall high point awards for both their lanes!  It was so fun to be able to watch them dance and cheer them on!

In the video Emily is in the green costume and starts out in the front row, second from the left.

I was especially excited to see them perform their show number - I Wanna Rock!  Emily had practiced a lot at home but I had never seen any other part of it.  They were the last performance of the night and they just blew me away.  Emily was a little nervous at first but once they finished she said she had so much fun!  We are already looking forward to more competitions in the weeks to come!
