William's Lake

Once again we joined forces with the Palmers and rented a cabin on Williams Lake. We spent five glorious days there and had such a wonderful time! We went fishing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, and swimming. We ate a lot of good food but the funnest meal we had was one that LeeRoy planned. He brought us each an M.R.E. and we all had fun preparing and eating them. It was interesting to see what they were like since he eats them at guard all the time. While at the cabin, we also played a ton of games and did a few craft projects with the kids. We had fun spotting different animals in the woods. Emily poured some chipmunk food outside the front door and loved watching them come and eat at different times during the week. I asked Emily and Wendy what they liked best and they agreed on boating. They were both scared at first but once they tried it they couldn't get enough. We took them for rides all over the lake. We had so much fun together and it is so nice when you can come home from a vacation truly relaxed!
