Update: Emily's teacher suggested she send her video to channel 8 news. We did and she was very excited to get an e-mail back from both anchors. It meant so much to her that they took the time to do that!

Emily's Report
Emily loves channel 8 news, especially Karole Honas. She was recently assigned a project on Madison County by her fourth grade teacher as part of their Idaho History studies and quickly decided she wanted to be a channel 8 news anchor for it. She did all the research in school and picked all the locations. She even made giant cue cards so she could remember what to say on "location". We had a lot of fun traveling to the different places together as a family. Once we finished recording LeeRoy taught her how to edit video clips into a movie. Some of the clips were hard to hear thanks to the wind so she even learned to record her voice and dub it over the top in her video. She did great and we were very proud of all the hard work and time she put into this project!

She did such an amazing job!!! She definitely needs to look into that as she gets older.
Everyone was talking about it at lunch today, what a fun idea. I remember when she was so shy. I actually think she is pretty darn good. I think they should hire her tomorrow!
I feel so well informed about Madison County. Thank the beautiful young broadcaster for me.
