Happy Hallows Eve

Halloween this year was so much fun. The girls each had parties at both school and dance. Emily also had a party for Activity Days for church along with 2 others at her friend's houses. They were pretty busy but happy to get to dress up several times. Wendy was a pirate and Emily was a fortune telling Gypsy.

This was also the first year for the Grandstand of Terror. Wendy is too y
oung for haunted stuff so she and I stayed home while Emily and LeeRoy went. LeeRoy said Emily was so nervous waiting in line that she kept offering to pay him back for the price of the tickets if he would let them leave. Once they got in though she really liked it and it was all she would talk about for days. She is already excited to go back again next year!

On Halloween weekend the Robison Family came to visit for my mom's annual Halloween dinner. We spent most of the day doing some early Christmas shopping and the rest eating great food and visiting together. It was especially nice having them home since
this year for the dance showteam's Halloween party there was a pumpkin carving contest and Emily was eager to participate. Since Travis is such a great artist he was nice enough to come up with a design for her. She loved it and we all had fun carving our different pumpkins together.

On Halloween night LeeRoy took the girls trick-or-treating. They came
home with tons of candy. He told me that Wendy was the loudest kid on the block. She kept getting so excited she would just stop walking, raise her hands in the air and yell as loud as she could, " WE ARE TRICK-OR-TREATING......THIS IS SOOOOOO FUN!" He and Emily thought it was pretty funny.

Wendy is so funny! Tell the girls that their costumes were awesome. I miss seeing you each month.

We had so much fun with you guys too. That cracks me up how excited Wendy was at the houses. Glad Em liked the pumpkin, even though she didn't win :(
