Borah Peak, at 12,662 ft. is the highest mountain in Idaho. The trail is only 3.9 miles long, but the elevation change is over a mile into the air in those four miles. A coworker told me that he had hiked it and I thought, if this joker can do it, so can I. So I gathered some co workers from Guard and we hiked it in a day. A long day of 7 hours up and 5 hours down. Fernandez said he would never answer an phone call from me again! I was sore for a week, but the others had blisters and lost their big toe nails due to the hike down.
