Right before Emily went to dance practice a delivery came for the girls. They were so excited to read that the flowers were from their dad. He is so sweet! For my present.....since I am so low maintenance......all I asked for was an iPhone and a letter. I got both!
Later in the day I was parked and a big SUV backed into me. Getting into an accident on Valentine's day is not so much fun but all in all it wasn't very bad. Wendy was in the car with me playing her video game and she didn't even notice when we got hit. The other driver admitted to the police that it was her fault so not a big deal I guess. Just paperwork now.
For dinner we headed over to my mom's where she made us a special Valentine's dinner. She went all out and we had a great time. I even got to play the whole "I was in a car accident today" card when it came time to clean up. SCORE!
By the time we got home that night it was pretty late but the girls and I stayed up a little longer to eat some delicious sugar cookies together. It was a great day!

Ohh how fun! Seeing these pics make me homesick. They look so cute with their flowers. Oh, that was crazy hearing the "smack"over the phone...glad your okay. Hope you had fun at moms house, looks like a blast! Love you guys.
I am so jealous of all the cool family things you do! I love reading about how you strengthen your family is so many ways.
What about those cookies. I know you couldn't have eaten them all, AND I didn't have a single one. :(
The girls look so cute. Sorry about the car, don't you just hate that. We need to get our car fixed because Donnie ran off the road in Island Park and cracked the bumper. I feel your pain.
